Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy. Which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. This applies to the (not excluded) items purchased through this website. Original art purchased via galleries, expositions and markets are excluded from this return policy and these sales are final.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it in, unworn or unused, with tags, with certificate of authenticity and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

Please be aware that the original art and prints are extremely fragile and there is a good change they will damage when not handled correctly or packaged poorly. In case of any damages, Iris V. Art will not accept the return and you will not receive a refund. 

Please note that returns will need to be sent to The Netherlands. The buyer is liable for the costs of shipping to the artist.  

When returning original art we ask you use a traceable shipping service and even suggest insuring it. Otherwise we cannot guarantee we will receive the returned product. If you have any questions about how to ship your return, please let us know. 

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. If your return is accepted, we'll send you instructions on how and where to send your package.

Exceptions / non-returnable items  

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products and commissions.  Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards. This also applies to original art you have seen in person before purchasing it.  

 

Exchanges  

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.  

  

Refunds  

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
